A manual expense tracker. You type in what you spend; the app adds it up and shows you where it went. It is a record-keeping tool, not financial, tax or accounting advice.
No account, and nothing leaves your iPhone. There is no registration and no sign-in. Spendy makes no network requests at all — no server of ours, no analytics, no advertising. Everything you record is stored in a file on your own device. Turn on Airplane Mode and the whole app still works.
The app opens with a few entries marked SAMPLE so the first screen is not empty. They are excluded from every total and chart. The first time you add an entry of your own, Spendy clears them all, so from that point every figure on screen is yours.
Spendy Pro is an auto-renewing subscription sold through the App Store at $2.99 per month or $19.99 per year. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. It renews automatically at the same price unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions, or from the Settings screen inside the app. Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us.
Your data is never locked. Cancelling returns you to the free plan: everything you recorded stays fully readable, editable, chartable and exportable. Only adding new entries is limited. We will not hold your own records hostage.
Settings → Export CSV writes a file wherever you choose; that copy is yours and outside our reach. Settings → Erase all data permanently deletes every entry on the phone. Deleting the app removes the stored file and everything in it. There is no server-side copy, so there is nothing to request from us and nothing for us to erase.
Spendy is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from use of the app, including decisions made from figures it displays. Keep your own records for anything that matters — taxes, reimbursement, disputes.
